A New Page Just for Halloween Sales ... and race car driver suit for toddlers

November is a great time to buy Halloween stuff on sale, so I'm starting a page to help you do that. The first link I put up on that page was to Old Navy. They don't have very much Halloween merchandise left, but one ting I saw there was a race car driver costume for babies and toddlers. Discounted by more than 50%, it could also be used as a dress-up / pretending outfit ... making it be a pretty good gift idea for anytime during the year.

Decorations on Sale and Prop Automation Projects

On the Decorations page, I've got links for a couple of stores that put some of their Halloween decorations on sale when the Holiday is over ... i've also added a link to a project that will give you some ideas about how to use Home Automation Products to automatically raise or operate your props when people are close to them.

Found -- Munsters Collectibles

There's a new page up today for TV shows that fit the theme of Halloween. The first links on it are for a couple of cool collectibles based on The Munsters. One is a diecast replica of Grandpa's "Dragula" and the other is a subscription plan for a limited edition Halloween Munster Village.

Funny / Spooky Faces in your windows

Today I just found a project called "Wailing Windows" that turns the windows of your house in to Spooky faces kind of like pumpkin faces, using black felt and tracing paper. A link to it is on the Props and Decorations page

Get Chased by Mummies at Ben & Jerry's

The Ben & Jerry Ice Cream Company has a section of its web site devoted to Halloween, including Halloween history, craft and activities, and several online games. My favorite is "The Mummy's Tomb", where you race through a maze using the keyboard arrows, with mummies chasing you.

Fog Machine Projects and Downloadable Horror Flicks

Hallloween is over for this year, but the CartoonCostumes.com blog will live on, as the site continues to grow into an all-purpose resource for the Holiday.

Today I've added a a link to a site with some very cool fog machine projects, including a way to keep your fog closer to the ground. I used a fog machine this year in the front yard, and the effect was a ton better when the fog rolled along the ground instead of floating up in to the air, so I'm very interested in trying this trick. Look for the link on our Decorations page.

Also, I've started a Halloween movies page with a link to a service that lests you download movies to your PC and watch them there rental style.
